SUA Adds New States to Temp Staffing Program

Dear Partner agents,

Lighthouse Programs is excited to announce that SUA Insurance Company is expanding territories where coverage is offered for their temp staffing program! SUA now offers coverage for temporary staffing firms domiciled in the following states:

FL, TX, CA, MI, and IL

In addition to the states above, SUA is opening ancillary coverage in the same states where coverage is offered in their PEO program: GA, AL, SC, TN, VA, AR, KS, MO, MS, OK, NM, NV, & IN.

As a reminder, the following are the program parameters:
  • $50k manual premium minimum; targeting firms $250k- $500k premium
  • Targeting firms placing >100 employees
  • Minimum 3 years in business
  • Targeting technical/professional staffing firms
  • Limited contractor business
  • No day labor

In terms of risk appetite, SUA would like codes that fall under 1-7 in the AM Best Hazard Grade, and accounts that aggregate a $3.00 to $4.00 mix rate. Desirable temporary staffing firms are those that focus on long-term assignments and are white to gray collar in nature, including clerical, light industrial, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality industries.

Thank you for your partnership and happy prospecting!

Best Regards,
The Lighthouse Team
